Whether you’re gearing up for a winter afternoon spent skiing freshly groomed trails at the Canmore Nordic Centre or you’re driving by on your way to a classic Kananaskis hike, Cornerstone Cafe should be your first stop.
Located inside the Canmore Nordic Centre Day Lodge, our cafe is features a commercial kitchen, expert chefs, and plenty of grab and go options to fuel your next adventure. From homemade soups (you’re going to want to try our famous smoked tomato soup – trust us) and chilis, to market fresh salads, gourmet burgers, and kids meals, we’ve got something to satisfy every craving.

We’re proud to have partnered with Eclipse Coffee Roasters and Grizzly Paw Brewery to bring locally roasted coffee and craft beer to the trails. Whether you need a caffeine boost to get the day started or a refreshing rewards after hitting the trails, our cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy Canmore’s local delights without having to drive back into town.
The best part? We’re open daily from 9am – 5pm to help you stay fueled – no matter what the day throws your way. We always include a kids menus, vegan and vegetarian options along with gluten free choices. Need something on the go? We also carry a selection of Reheat & Eat meals crafted with love in our kitchen. Packed with hearty vegetables and high-quality meat, and loaded with flavor, these meals are designed to take the guesswork out of busy weeknight meals. Simply heat up, add a side of rice or other accompaniments, and you’re ready to go.
